Our Outdoor Classroom
We Invite Wildlings To Connect To Nature

Deep within the heart of our woods, nestled amongst ancient trees that have stood witness to centuries of our seasons, resided our outdoor classroom.
At the edge of a sun-dappled clearing, a whimsical sight awaits. Our charming gypsy wagon named Babuska. She stands with her grandmother spirit, enraptured in handpainted art and adorned with creativity and warmth. Her wheels, firmly planted, whispering tales of faraway lands. Babuska is more than just a wagon. She is a portal to imagination. Her cosy nook is filled with the scent of woodsmoke and the rustle of pages turning. Soft cushions and mismatched rugs invite you to settle in, while shelves overflow with art supplies, musical instruments, and curious treasures collected from the forest floor. This is where homeschooling adventures truly bloom.
Wildlings, with eyes sparkling with curiosity, gather around, eager to explore the wonders of the natural world. Babushka becomes their creative nook, a place where learning is an organic, joyful experience.

What We Nurture

In ancient times, long before formal schooling existed, learning was deeply intertwined with the rhythms of the natural world. Wise elders would gather young ones beneath the canopy of ancient trees, sharing stories of the ancestors, the wisdom of the stars, and the secrets whispered by the wind. These gatherings were not just about imparting knowledge; they were about cultivating a deep connection to the Earth, creating a sense of belonging to the greater whole, and nurturing the intuitive wisdom that blooms within each individual. Homeschool workshops in the woods echo this ancient tradition, offering a space where learning is organic, experiential, and deeply rooted in the wisdom of the natural world.

A Deep Connection to Earth
Creating a deep appreciation for the environment and a sense of stewardship towards the planet. Children can learn about ecology, sustainability, and the interconnectedness of all living things through direct observation and hands-on experiences.

A Sense of Community & Belonging
Connecting with other families through nature walks, co-ops, and other shared learning experiences. This fosters a sense of community and belonging, while also providing opportunities for social interaction and diverse perspectives.

Intuition & Inner Wisdom
Homeschooling can create space for children to connect with their inner selves, to trust their intuition, and to develop a deeper understanding of their own unique gifts and talents. Learning can become a more organic and intuitive process, guided by curiosity and a sense of wonder.

Mindful Observation
Creating practices for sensory exploration and a deep connection to nature.
